Announcing 'An Embroiderers Garden'
Floral Collection for Hand Embroidery
A compilation of over
200 motifs. This book includes thread and fabric information,
along with simple easy to follow stitch instructions. Although
each pattern does have it own colour key and suggested stitches
listed, I think the versatility of each design is evident, from
the beginner using the backstitch and the basic outlines to the
more experienced stitcher who can fill the shapes with stitches
limited only by their imagination.
I have been wanting to produce a
book for free hand embroidery for some time, I really enjoyed
working on this project and I do hope that it can ignite your
my Cross Stitch Card Collection
of 37 individual designs all with their own pattern card, perfect
for projects on the go. With greeting cards and other small
project in mind.
I feel this is an exciting collection
of ideas to stitch for family & friends or yourself. I have
grouped the cards so each design can be worked individually or
as part of a set.
Using a limited colour pallet and very little backstitch the patterns
are easy to follow and the cards themselves, practical to use
being of a small size.
I have tried to generate a very vintage feel to this collection,
using silhouettes and old fashioned sewing patterns to create
the figurative charts. Some of the cards use flowers as inspiration
generating beautiful postcard style designs, combining these with
classic wedding and baby birth designs and using clean soft colours
throughout, forms an attractive collections of charts.
